 We frequently choose handmade cutting boards to use as our blocks for printing. Most print shops do not ever sell their print blocks (in fact we may be unique in that we part with them at all), but we truly love how our refinished carvings can transform a piece of necessary kitchenware into beautiful home décor. Our Print Block Cutting Boards are intended for use as fully functional pieces of art. All of our cutting boards are hand carved and then used to create an entire limited edition of prints. The carved side is then coated in a food safe shellac to preserve the color and carvings and the uncarved side of each board is 100% food safe and ready for use. These completely unique hand carved cutting boards are sure to wow your guests at your next charcuterie party or to bring joy and personality to any kitchen while displayed as an accent piece when not in use. Care instructions-

As these Print Block Cutting Boards are not dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing them in warm water with any dish soap and if needed disinfecting the uncarved cutting side with a paper or fabric towel dipped in white vinegar after use. Simply wipe the uncarved side of the board with the vinegar soaked towel and then leave to air dry. For maximum longevity, cutting boards should be seasoned regularly with mineral oil (a dime sized drop worked into the wood about once a month or two). With proper care our Print Block Cutting Boards should last for years and maintain their safety, usefulness, and beauty.
